Thriller Task - Editing
Today we realised that we only had couple of clips that we had left to edit. First we realised that some of the sound didn’t flow through the sequence so Shaneece grabbed the sound from the first clip and copied over the rest so it flowed nicely. We then had to cut down the clip of Character B walking as it was too long. We then had to edit together the clips of Character B dialling the phone and Character A answering it. We changed the sound on some other clips to make it more realistic for example we dipped the sound when Character A was far away from the ringing phone and then made it louder when she was closer to the phone. After completing editing the clips together we decided to start creating the titles. We all agreed on a font for the title of our thriller which is ’Absent’ which would fit with the theme of our thriller and appropriate transitions. We agreed that a fade into the establishing shot would be the best choice to start the thriller. We then decided to add more transitions to some of the other clips such as fades and cross dissolves the help the sequence flow better.
